The Dark and The Light

From the dark
And to the Light
Then Back again
Life goes on
From a sunny day
To a shadowy night
From a sports field
To a hospital bed
To a dreary day
In a cemetary
As a casket is lowered
Into the dark ground
An eternal sleep
That's not so sound
But still life goes on
Back to a sunny day
Trying to push the dark away
But it comes back
It always does
Then it's back to te hospital
Hoping for the best
But expecting the worst
For where there is light
The dark will seek
As death may be life
And life death again reaps
